Records documenting the Fairmount Park Art Association's presentation of the sculpture to the Fairmount Park Commission and the announcement of its initial site (1872), followed by two subsequent relocations: a Committee on Plans and Improvements recommendation and Commission resolution to move the sculpture from West Park to East River Drive (1874), and correspondence regarding a further relocation necessitated by construction of the Schuylkill Expressway (1953-1954).
