This file documents the City of Philadelphia Department of Recreation's activities related to the maintenance and upkeep of Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center. Obtained in a donation to the archive from the Department of Recreation, records in this file were originally housed in a folder labeled King, ML RC. The file includes memorandums, work orders, Final Acceptance notices, and technical manuals.

Notable people pictured include Senator Edmund Muskie, Mayor James Tate, and Recreation Commissioner Robert Crawford.
