Correspondence and memoranda regarding the conservation, maintenance, and restoration of park sculptures (1926-2004), including a 1926 report on corrosion stains on park monuments and a 1994 memorandum regarding the annual sculpture wash and wax program. Also includes 1997 City of Philadelphia sculpture survey entries for twenty-seven works, and clippings (1958-1993).

Scope and Contents

Records documenting the Fairmount Park Commission's 1977 search for the two women who modeled for Beatrice Fenton's Seaweed Girl and Nereid Fountain, including a press release announcing the search and a clipping reporting that model Mary Wilson had been located. Also includes 2009 correspondence regarding Wilson's family, a deed of trust (2000), a charitable trust agreement (2001), and an undated description of the sculpture submitted to the Art Jury.
