The Sculpture and Fountain Collection contains materials documenting the sculptures and fountains throughout Philadelphia that the Department of Parks and Recreation maintains. Both photographic materials and records, such as restoration plans, are contained within the collection.

Reports of the Committee on Plans and Improvements regarding proposals for the sculpture's pedestal and the awarding of the pedestal contract to Allen B. Rorke (1896), a letter from the Fairmount Park Art Association expressing appreciation for the Fairmount Park Commission's cooperation in the unveiling ceremonies (1899), correspondence regarding the poor condition of the sculpture (1967), and clippings (2006, 2019).
