Correspondence regarding the proposed site for the monument (1894), improving the site surrounding the monument (1896), and a request from the Committee on Entertainment of the Fairmount Park Art Association for permission to hold a water fete on the Schuylkill River opposite the monument on the night of its unveiling (1896). Also includes a special report of the Fairmount Park Art Association, "Unveiling of the Memorial to James A. Garfield" (1896).
