Scope and Contents
Records documenting the unveiling and site grading of the Joan of Arc statue (1890), specifications for removing and resetting the bronze statue and limestone pedestal by Zantzinger, Borie, and Medary (1919), and decades of proposed relocations including architectural drawings and correspondence by Paul Philippe Cret (1937-1938) and a 1944 resolution to relocate. Also includes correspondence regarding lighting (1949), a $15,000 restoration grant from the French Heritage Society (2008), a conservation treatment proposal by Milner + Carr Conservation (2009), and a 2010 rededication program.
