Correspondence from sculptor Herman Kirn regarding a sketch for The Finding of Moses, proposed for placement in the lily pond near Horticultural Hall (1885), and a letter from the Committee on Plans and Improvements to the Fairmount Park Commission recommending adoption of a resolution to construct the sculpture (1885). No record of the sculpture's construction has been identified.
