This collection contains maps, drawings and plans of the Manayunk region- including the town of Manayunk, Venice Island, and Manayunk Canal. The bulk of the collection is focused on the Manayunk Canal, particularly recent restoration plans.

Photographs of the building exterior, park facilities, and children playing on playground equipment. Also documents various events and activities including recreational swimming, dedication ceremony, and senior citizens playing cards. Notable people pictured include Mayor Richardson Dilworth, Department of Recreation Commissioner Robert Crawford, Congressman Herman Toll, and City Council members Constance Dallas, Alfred Luongo, and Edward R. Cantor.
