The collection is particularly strong in documenting early park development (1860s-1930s) and late 20th-century property management and planning activities.

Glass Plate Negatives
Items included in this collection are of the glass plate negative format or the "Woodburytype" lantern slides. Subject matter covered includes the Pennypack region, RittenhouseTown, Fairmount Park races, and East and West Fairmount Park- all circa the late 19th Century.
Greber Design Collection
The drawings included in this collection are limited to the region of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from Logan Circle to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It is comprised primarily of landscape plans, but also contains related sketches of details, decorations and embankments.
