Abstract

Included with the proposed plans for a state highway across from Cobb's Creek Park is an item of correspondence between Paul MacMurray, Director of the Fairmount Park Commission, and E.T. Baker, Assistant Chief Engineer of the Department of Highways. In the letter, MacMurray expresses his concern that the proposed highway will interfere with the golf course, and his suggestion that the plan be revised, as a result.

Abstract

Plan shows the northwestern portion of Cobb's Creek Park as bounded by the center line of Coleman Street, the east line of Arch Street, the north line of Lansdowne Avenue, and the center of Cobb's Creek for a total acreage of 37.174.
