Other events and activities documented include a talent show, pool ribbon-cutting ceremony, Dance Festival, bubble gum-blowing contest, Bicycle Safety Rodeo, Recreation Department Umpire's Clinic, and the Lawncrest float in the Clean-Up, Paint-Up, Fix-Up Parade.
