General

Many drawings and plans in this sub-series include the name “Robin Hood Dell” in their titles. These materials document the facility now known as the Mann Music Center, which opened in 1976 and was renamed the Mann Music Center in 1979. At the time the plans were created (1974–1977), the venue was referred to as Robin Hood Dell West. References to “Robin Hood Dell” or “Robin Hood Dell East” properly apply to the venue now known as the Dell Music Center. The use of “Robin Hood Dell” in item titles reflects inconsistent or informal naming practices at the time and should not be interpreted as referring to the Dell Music Center.
