Verso: Valley Green Inn; Springfield Ave. at Wissahickon Creek; Philadelphia, PA 19128; 215-247-1730: In the beautiful valley along the Wissahickon Creek, is this old and lone representative of the lost Wissahickon Valley hostelries of Revolutionary days. The original hostelrie was in existence in 1683, frequented by millers and farmers.
