Fairmount Park, Smith Memorial Playground building: Children's Play House, 1912
Scope and Contents
The collection contains approximately 200 postcards from 1875 and 2001, though most of the postcards are from 1885 and 1915. A majority of the postcards depict Fairmount Park sites, although two Virginia and one New Hampshire postcard are included in the collection.
Of particular note are the postcards in Series I: Centennial Exposition. The postcards in this series were created in 1875 and each depicts a building from the Centennial Exposition of 1876.

Verso: Sunday-School Parade; Saturday, Oct. 5th, 1912. Fairhill should have 1000 in line. Meet at church 2 o'clock. Be sure to be present, we shall miss you if you do not parade. Theo. F. Miller, Sup't.
P.S.-Don't forget the Men's Bible Class Parade, evening of Oct. 10th. Every male member over 16 years old should parade. Theo. F. Miller, Sup't.
