This collection contains technical reports, studies, and project documentation related to Fairmount Park system properties and Philadelphia recreation facilities. Materials include historic structure reports, cultural landscape inventories, archaeological investigations, preservation and conservation evaluations, building condition assessments, master plans, environmental site assessments, engineering reports, project manuals and specifications, feasibility studies, maintenance and operation manuals, design development reports, property appraisals, finishes analyses, and academic research. Most materials are unpublished technical documents created for use by Fairmount Park Commission and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation preservation and planning staff, though the collection also includes published master plans and academic theses. Materials are organized alphabetically by site or property name and date from 1954 to 2025.
