Abstract

"Recreation facility assessments of 67 facilities, classified at teh time as "C" and "D" facilities. These sites were surveyed by the Philadelphia architecture firm, Buell Kratzer Powell. The same firm then created a series of assessment reports originally arranged in 10 sections, according to their respective council districts. A complete set of these reports in both physical and electronic form may be consulted in the offices of Public Property. The set formerly located in the office of the Recreation Commissioner were accessioned by the Fairmount Park Historic Resource Archives in 2016 and were rearranged into one alphabetical run." [sic]

There are sixty-three facility assessments in the attached binders. A total of 1970 components of these facilities were reviewed and evaluated. The reports on these facilities have been sorted into their respective Council Districts. The assessments of the one hundred and fourteen "A" and "B" facilities were previously completed and forwarded in 2006. The Department of Public Property will continue to refer to these assessments in recommending future capital projects and will continue to assess the facilities' conditions.
