From the Collection:

This collection contains a variety of maps, plans and drawings relating to East and West Fairmount Park. Materials included in the collection are blueprints, bluelines, linens, mylars and paper. The collection contains diverse types of maps and plans, such as sewer plans, topographic plans, site plans, latitudinal and longitudinal plans, water main plans, street maps, and landscape plans. The collection is particularly strong in topographic plans, covering the entire region, and structural plans of the park's various components. Items included in this collection are dated from 1684 to 2015, and range from original survey plans of the park to modern restoration projects. All items included are in English.

Abstract

Plans and drawings for lighting improvements on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Plans were created by R. Felt and Sharon Electric Co., Inc. in October of 1975, and contain subsequent notes and stamps of approval through 1976.

Physical Description

Drawings are in fair condition, with some bends and yellowing of the items which do not affect visibility or use.
